st: FW: residuals after conditional fixed effects negative binomial regression

Dear list members:

I am obviously not too clear on what conditional likelihood is; this might
explain why stata does not let me compute residuals after estimating a
conditional fixed effects negative binomial model. Is my intuition right, in
other words, why is it that I cannot compute residuals after estimating a
model with xtnbreg?
