Dear Statalist members,

I want to implement in Stata a two segmented (quadratic-quadratic) logistic model to test the existence and estimate the location of the changepoint in a (U-shaped) relationship: continuous covariate--dichotomic response, as it was described by Goetghebeur and Pocock :("detection and estimation of J-shaped risk-response relationships" JRSSA 1995; 158:107-121).

Are there routines in Stata to do this?. Any help or suggestion would be much appreciated.

Walter Valdivia.
