st: Short-cut for computing outlay equivalent ratios

Does anyone know of an ado file or a short-cut for computing the 'Outlay Equivalent Ratio' and its standard errors as discussed in Deaton's Analysis of Household Surveys?  (Deaton 1997:235).
 
The ratio uses the Rothbarth method to calculate the cost of children using 'adult goods'.
 
Any advise or lead greatly appreciated.
