Dear Statalisters,

I have two questions on graph, note()

- how can I use a " sign within a note text, that is,
how can I mask the quote sign, that stata will not
recognize it as the end of the note text. \" as usual
in programming languages don't works.

- in a note text, I want to put a single word in
italics, for example "source" should be something like
this:

. sysuse auto

. graph bar rep78 foreign, note("\textit{source:} text
text text ...")

best,

Gerhard
