Good counter-point! My ongoing frustration is when there are multiple findits to apparently the same thing, and you have to wade through them to figure out what is the latest and greatest version of something. If everybody followed ssc's practice of including the release date and/or version number, that would help. It might also be nice if there was a way to use the findit command on the web.
