I am running fracpoly to know the scale form of
variable age during stcox procedure.

the table from option compare showed that the best
form is -5 0

after using this option i found that the estimated
coef for age are very large which may point to
colliniarity. any advice

age df	Deviance	Gain	P(term)	Powers
Not in model	0	23852.046	--	--
Linear		1	23843.695	0.000	0.004	1
m = 1		2	23836.174	7.521	0.006	3
m = 2		4	23824.681	19.014	0.003	-.5 0

_t              Coef.	     [95% Conf.	Interval]
Iage__1	        16.5029	     10.15198	22.85381
Iage__2 	4.537873     2.840908	6.234837
