Dear Stata-listers,

Does anyone know how can I retrieve the mean from the following command ?
svymean X if reg==1, subpop(rural) by(pctile)

When I do gen meanX=_b[X], I obtain an error message.

The idea is to retrieve the means of the X so that I can graph the mean of X for each percentile.

Thanks a lot in advance.

I don't know the exact answer to your question, but in general if you type the commands

return list
ereturn list

you'll get listings of the info Stata has saved for you and that is available for use.
