Hello,

I am trying to fit a Cox model on a dataset with both fixed and time-varying
covariates (tvc). However, Stata will not fit a model with tvc only. I have
received two different error messages when trying to do this:

stcox, tvc(var)
last estimates not found
(r301)

or

stcox, tvc(var)
option tvc( ) not allowed
(r198)

It works fine when I also include a fixed variable in the model -
unfortunately none of my fixed variables are significant but the tvc are. I
have found a similar query in the Statalist archives but unfortunately no
answer! Please can somebody help.

Thank you,
