Dear All,

I am running a ml routine. The likelihood estimation program looks ok, and ml check suggests that there is no error. Once I intent ml maximize the program iterates for a while in a concave zone. Then I get the backed-up message. At the end convergence is declared in a backed-up iteration. I understand that this is of great concern. What does this mean? What can I do to fix the problem?

Many thanks,

Alfonso.
