hmmm, i have put a requisition order for stata 8 yesterday and promptly put 
it on hold today because of this email. unfortunately our organization is 
still using win98 and office 97, as will be too the machine on which stata 8 
will be installed. if this copy and paste to word 97 do not work, then stata 
8 won't be of use to me.

you (cnguyen@stata.com) mentioned that it (cut and pasting into word 
97)works from w98se onwards. i have just checked on the window properties, 
it merely said that it is window 98 there is no se or second edition note 
next to it. how can i ascertain whether my window is w98se or w98? thank 
you.
