Statalist,

I am having difficulty with the clemio2 command. It does not seem to
work for large samples of my data.  I don't get any error message;
Stata simply continues working on the command indefinitely, as if
there is too much data for it to process, and I am always forced to
press "Break". I left it running overnight to see if it needed more
time and it was still trying in the morning.

However, it does work when I input the 'tin' option for very small
samples of my dataset. But my data is only N=3130, so it is not
immense and I don't see why it shouldn't work.

The most puzzling thing is that it was working perfectly several weeks
ago on the exact same data. I was using Stata 12 back then, and I
still am. I can't find anything that has changed. My data is tsset,
as is required.

I have tried the following:

1) ssc uninstalling/re-installing the command
2) re-starting Stata
3) re-starting my computer
5) attempting on different computers
6) different specifications of the command, such as different options,
and trying on different variables
7) closing all other applications on my computer to give stata the
most room to work

If someone could please tell me if they have any ideas as to why I am
encountering difficulties, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,

Alex
