    Hey Roland.

Thank for the link. I had done those steps already :) but thank you.
What I will try is to install it Statically (i have it dynamically)
I also got similar hints from the tech support of stata so I will do
those steps and let everyone know.

Just a small heads up. The libgtksourceview1.0-0 is
not in the reps so one has to compile it manually or find some
alternatives (it is not in the main repository for Debian)

Greetings all.

I installed STATA 11 on a Debian 6 machine successfully and update to 11.2

I tried to insert a DO file from a project on a MAC OSX and the STATA
crashed all together.
I then noticed that I can not even open the simple DO Editor from the
menu. When ever I try to open the editor the STATA crashes.

After spending sometime with it and googling I couldnt find a solution.

Any ideas or hints?

Gouz
