Using Stata 11.
I'm trying to do portfolio analysis in STATA and would like to get stock data for current dates or a range of earlier dates.
There are two parts to this:
1. Are there any sites, data sources, or do files that allow data to be imported for a set of ticker symbols? (e.g. daily prices, market cap, EPS growth, 90 day average, beta, etc.)
2. Any recommended sites, do files, or packages good for handling stock data in STATA?
Kind of a general, but I appreciate anything you might be able to offer.
