Many thanks Dave. I already have that checked though and its working fine. The problem for me is that Stata appears as five separate windows which is a pain if I just want to reposition it on my screen. I just thought there might be an option somewhere that snaps the five windows together as in the Windows version but it doesn't seem that there is.

"Bring all windows to front when activated" should be checked in the General preferences.

In contrast to the Windows version, all of the Stata windows in the Mac version are free floating. Is there any way of being able to snap them together/anchor them to each other as with the Windows version?
