format, which enables you to use -egen, rowtotal()-

Dear Statalist,
I imported from excel quarterly data for three variables, from 1995 to 2008.
It currently looks like this on Stata:
var A var B var C
1995Q1 1995Q2...2008Q4 |1995Q1 ...2008Q4| 1995Q1...2008Q4
I would like to generate the sum all three variables for the same quarterly
data, and I am not sure how to proceed. Would there a quick way for me to
do?
