The -outtable- routijne of Baum and de Azevedo (Stata matrix -> LaTeX table) has been updated to support a format list. Now one can say something like

outtable using cars,mat(c) replace center f(%9.2f %9.3f %9.1f %9.2f)

and each column of the resulting LaTeX table will be formatted accordingly. This is particularly helpful if some of the columns contain integer values. The prior logic of specifying a single format value (or no format at all) also works.

We are grateful to Michael Blasnik and Ben Jann for providing this logic in their -mat2txt- routine.

The updated -outtable- routine can be downloaded from -ssc- or - adoupdate-, if previously installed.
