Thanks to the advice of Rodrigo Alfaro and Steve Samuels I was able to verify that the new MIM procedures (see The Stata Journal, 8:1, pp.49-67), along with Stata's ability to handle survey data, in particular jackknife replicate weights, produces accurate results when applied to a reference NAEP dataset.

I deeply appreciate the help.
