Look carefully at the output: What the dialogs and the manual call
a "two-sample mean comparison test" turns out to be a paired t-test.
And what the dialogs and the manual call a "two-group mean comparison
test" turns out to be the usual two-sample t-test.
 
So don't blame yourself; I think it is the manuals and the dialogs
that are inconsistent.
