Apart from the suggestions already made you can use the command
set scrollbufsize
to set how far back you can scroll your screen so you can see all of your
output.
so
set scrollbufsize = 200000
will give you a buffer of 200000 lines, which is pretty long and should keep
your output.
A log file is the best idea and you should always use one.

Subject: st: Stopping stata?

Dear Stata list,

This is a simple question: how do I stop stata from running all the
regression results as I miss half of them. I want to be able to stop it
while it is running so that I can read the results rather than either
scrolling up (only not to find it).

I looked up "break" in the stata command but I did not get the feeling that
that is the right one.

Regards,

Gauri
