There is a new executable update available today, May 18, 2004, that includes
over 60 changes and improvements. We recommend you read the entire list of
changes in the What's New help file but some of the changes will be of
particular interest to Stata for Windows users.
There is also a May 14,2004 update to the ado-files that includes several enhancements/fixes that have been discussed on the list lately. Two that I noticed:

* The -by- parameter is now optional with -adjust-

* -recode- had bizarre behavior when working with the extended missing values, e.g. -recode x (.a/.z = 99)- resulted in all nonmissing values getting recoded to 99 while the missing values were left unchanged. This has been fixed.

The executable and the ado-files take a while to download! But it looks like there are a lot of good changes.
