Just in case you did not know you can use kdens2 for 3-d graphs with Stata
9.

What I would very much be interested in is a possibility to draw
-modern- 3d Stata graphs. Therefore, I wonder whether there is also a
new command to create 3d graphs in Stata 10?  Unfortunately, I
couldn't find anything alike in the information material on Stata 10.
