OK. Another question relating to my previous questions.

I had been using a data set I created to use with the micombine command.

I did the "ice" process outlined by the ucla how-to guide (http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/Stata/Library/ice.htm), but my imputed data set doesn't work with the mim commands.

I receive the error:

imputation identifier variable _mj is either missing or not numeric
r(498);

Reading the mim help file, I see that the _mj variable is created, but I don't see other processes by which to create an imputed data set. And the example sent from Maarten Buis wrt my previous "prgen" question just uses the "ice" command, too.

What am I doing wrong? My "ice" command looks like:

ice wealthpar97 black_nh asian_nh native_nh hisp female aveinc_hs pareduc asvab hhkids using imp, m(5) ///
boot(aveinc_hs wealthpar97)

Thanks in advance.

(I just want to be able to run and interpret my mlogits!!! ***sigh***)
