I haven't looked at -mim- yet, but statistically there 
shouldn't be a problem. The formulas that must be used to 
combine datasets doesn't depend on the algorithm used to 
create the imputations. As long as the imputations are 
independent draws from the posterior predictive 
distributions (distribution of plausible values for the 
missing cases) you are fine.
