Claude,

when asking "what is the utility of those paths?", do you mean which
ado-files will/should be stored in these paths? The online help is not
really informative on this. Unfortunately I do not have the manuals at
my hands but I would expect some explanations on the use of these
directories, there.

To change ado paths, use the following commands :
sysdir set PERSONAL "d:\data\perso"
sysdir set PLUS "d:\data\plus"
