One more thing:

"rp" (the dependent variable) is a count variable.
"race" is a dummy variable
age is the age of the respondent on the day of the interview
age2 is age-squared
hgc is highest grade completed
hhd1 is an indicator variable equalling 1 if the respondent's biological parents are still married
