I hadn't seen Nick's reference to Frank Harrell's book in the stepwise
thread, and mine in this one is coincidental.  Or maybe not so coincidental.

P.S. There is a line (-predict probability-) in the example do-file of my 
post that isn't needed, and the y-axis title of the logit-scale plot needs 
correcting, among other solecisms.
