Hi Stata users,

I have a data set from 1990 to 2003 with some missing
values for the dependent variable in years 1993, 2002
and 2003. I tried using ipolate command in stata to
get values and I used:

by region: ipolate entries year, gen (ient) epolate.

The problem was that I obtained quite a few negative
values and most of them are not integer. I am dealing
with count data for my DV, for this reason they should
be positive and integer.

Could anybody help me to find out a correct way to
deal with that, please? I would really appreciate your
help!

Thank you very much!

Samira.
