st: searching for a Stata command

Hi List,

I apologize for such an simple question, but I cannot find the Help 
reference for this problem. I have data set for which I want to fit the 
following models and perform a lack-of-fit test for each. I am searching 
for the commands to do this or a reference to the correct help file.

Model 1: E[Y|X=x]= beta_0 + beta_1x

Model 2: E[Y|X=x]= beta_0 + beta_1x + beta_2x^2
