Dear Statalist

I am trying to do an interval regression. The dependent variable is pay per hour. The data I am using is cross-section, with different firms and individuals. In this dataset there are k(14) weekly pay bands and there also total number of hours all individuals worked, such as 40 hours by 2,614 individuals worked and so on. What is the best way one can find out the median of k bands/no. of hours worked please. I tried a few things, but I am not sure of the best way of doing this.

Many Thanks in advance.
