st: Eudora works fine for filtering messages

Many thanks to those of you who suggested that I use Eudora's
filtering mechanism to handle Stata messages. I have tried to
avoid dealing with details of email, but in this case it really helped.
A former prof of mine once said in a book intro, "When you
don't know what you are doing, its good to have friends who do."
He was right.
