I would like to perform a duration analysis. However, I do not
understand how to compute a hazard function in STATA applicable for
discrete time models, as everything I see is about continuous time
models.
My data of duration (survival) is measured in days: 1,2,3,..., 124.
Furthermore due to its very askew distribution, it would be nice to have
the date defined and analysed in frequencies of 10, i.e. survived at
most 10 days, at most 20, at most 30 and so on.
How can I define the discrete duration model with the chosen frequency
and which estimation commands can I use?
