As Ricardo points out it is important that the data are arranged in a "Period"
order to obtain the correct estimates of treatment and period effects.
According to the syntax of -pkshape- (see [R] pkshape, p.418, in the Stata 9
Reference Manual) the user should list the variables containing the values of
treatments applied in the corresponding periods, i.e.  period1, period2 and so
on.
