Technically, -decompose- and -oaxaca- both work with
-xtreg-. Whether the results make sense or not
depends on your application, I guess.
For example, the assumption is made that the
earnings gap is constant over panels. Thus, this
method could not be used to analyze changes in the
earnings gap.
