Some time ago there has been a discussion about
-estout- being to complicated for many users.
I would like to point out that an easy-to-use
version called -estout1- has been available from
SSC all the time. However, due to some error, the
-estout1- package was "hidden" (i.e. it didn't
show up in the table of contents, nor did
-findit- find it) and I just forgot about it.
The error has been fixed now and the package is
correctly archived. In addition, I did some work
on the help file. -estout1- provides a fair
amount of functionality, but is much easier to
use than regular -estout-. I recommend it for
all who find -estout- too complex for their
needs.
To install the -estout1- package, type
. ssc install estout1
