st: Problems running xtgls on Large N panel

Hi,

I'm a beginner in Stata and I'm working with a balanced panel with N=3100 
and T=7. When I set the command xtgls depvar indepvar, stata returns a 
message saying that there aren't enough memory (or somenthing like it). I 
tried to set matsize 3300 and set memory 100Mb. My computer have 480Mb de 
RAM (dont know exactly). Does anyone know if the problem could be lack of 
memory? Or something else?
