st: Median polish technique

Dear Colleagues
In an epidemiology textbook I read about the median polish technique and the 
mean polish technique used to evaluate the cell reisduals in a 
crosstabulation with the objective of detecting the cohort effect.. Can 
these techniques be done by STATA
