Hi

I am using data which fits a nested logit model.
However, the
branches also fit an ordered logit model. For example,
at the first
stage, I have 2 choices (1 and 2). For choice 2, I
have four sub-
choices - (3,4,5,6). But choices 3,4,5 and 6 have an
ordinal ranking.
e.g. 6 is prefereable to 5 which is preferable to 4
which is
preferable to 3.

How can I use Stata to estimate this model? I can use
the nlogit
command, but then I think I cannot use the ranking
information.

Any comments are highly appreciated.

Thanks
S
