If you started at -whelp contents- (or equivalent button push)
and followed the link near the bottom of that page titled "Manual
datasets" (which takes you to dta_contents.hlp), you can obtain
lists of datasets used in the Stata Manuals.  There are links to
-describe- the datasets and links to -use- the datasets.

-search manual datasets- or -search manual data- (etc.) also
leads you to these pages.
