I am working with a sample of employed individuals and want to estimate
survival-hazard models for their current job duration. My data come from
a panel study, so I am able to verify whether -- and if so, when-- a job
ended so I can identify failures or right censoring.

However I face the following problem and don't know how to manage it
using Stata or if it can be overcome at all. For some of the workers in
my sample I don't know the onset of risk, that is, I don't know when do
they began working on the current job. I just know that they were
already working in their current job as of January 1st 2001. For the
remaining of the sample I know the date their job started.

Any advice on this matter will be greatly acknowledged.
