Hi folks,
Just reinstalled and updated Stata on new computer. Typed:
mmerge country using trustdata
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
merge specs          |
       matching type | auto
  mv's on match vars | none
  unmatched obs from | both
---------------------+---------------------------------------------------------
  master        file | compdata.dta
                 obs |    101
                vars |   1928
          match vars | country  (key)

-------------------+---------------------------------------------------------
  using         file | trustdata.dta
                 obs |    101
                vars |      4
          match vars | country  (key)

-------------------+---------------------------------------------------------
         common vars | trust90
---------------------+---------------------------------------------------------
and got:
unrecognized command:  merge
r(199);
which was strange since "country" is in both data sets.
Then I replaced mmerge on SSC (not really needed since it just
reinstalled what I had) and it still didn't work. So I typed:
merge country using trustdata
unrecognized command:  merge
Any suggestions?  Many thanks,
