st: admixture (or mixture) analysis

Hi everyone,

I am trying to perform a so called 'admixture (or mixture) analysis,' 
where an attempt is made to figure out whether a distribution could 
be described as composed by 2 or more normal distributions. Do you 
know if Stata does it or if there are specific packages for this kind 
of analysis? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
