Dear Maoyong,

After -tab group, gen(dum)- in Stata8-SE you should have as many dummy
variables as categories in your group variable.

At the bottom of the Variables Window in Stata, you should also see how many
dummy variables were created.

Alternatively, -browse- your dataset and find the new variables.
