It must be defined locally, it is not a built-in stata command.
If you have access to the originating computer, start stata, type -adopath-,

Does anyone know what this command does. I'm looking over a program and

If you have a crash.ado in your path, then typing

which crash

will identify where it is. But perhaps you could be a little more specific as to where you are seeing this program, e.g. is it being referred to in another program's code, or are you seeing error messages concerning it?
