I am trying to get a probit model to run in gllamm, and I found that
without the adapt command the model moves beyond iteration 1. But, it
took twelve hours or so to do so. So, I killed the job, and added the
adapt command. Now, the model won't run. Instead, it says:

start running on 21 Apr 2004 at 06:51:00
1m2 invalid name
finish running on 21 Apr 2004 at 06:51:00

Does anyone know what "1m2 invalid name" means. This model is exactly the
same as the model that was running slowly without the adapt command.
That is the only thing I changed at first.

Next, I deleted the nodifficult option, but that reproduced the 1m2
invalid name error.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Sam
