Dear Statalisters,

I have data for two variables, zi and Yi, with i=1,2,3,...,100.
And I also have two unknowns, g and d, and a equation that essentialy describes
the relationship of z,Y,g,d, which is:
z = g + Y*d

Since I have the observed values for zi and Yi, I can choose any two pairs of
zi and Yi and find g and d. However, I have 100 pairs of values, and I do not
know which set of pairs to choose, as every set yields different result, i.e.:

z1 = g + Y1*d
z2 = g + Y2*d
z3 = g + Y3*d
