First, please do use sensible titles for your postings. 
Many people delete postings purely on the basis of 
titles. You reduce the chance that you will get 
answered if you use silly or cryptic titles. 

Second, this is precisely what -lv- does for you. 
It calculates midsummaries and these spreads.
