It is too bad that you didn't sit in on the course I taught last year in our graduate program, on Longitudinal Statistics. It covered event history analysis, time series analysis, and panel data. We used Stata and SPSS for the time series part of the course. It is possible that I could help you depending on what needs to be done. Why don't we discuss this over the phone (212-998-8345).
