Assisted by the "help merge" documentation, I sorted one dataset ,
then the
other by the same named variable indicating subject number.
Then I applied the command "merge ---- (the variable indicating
subject
number) using ---- (the file first use and sorted)"
I obtained "_merge already defined".
Why and what do I need to correct, in order to obtain successful match
merge?
