Mac OS X is currently a 32-bit OS no matter which processor it is running on. This has been hashed out on various forums. See the archives of Apple's scitech mailing list, or any of several OSNews articles on the subject. I will not reply to anyone who wants to argue the point here. I have a dual G5 running Panther.
