Does anyone know any papers in the econometrics literature
that use or discuss multilevel or hierarchical models, other
than conventional panel data models? We're interested in random effects
models where the clusters are for instance countries, counties,
firms etc. (possibly in addition to a panel design).

It would be particularly nice if the dataset is also available,
but just references would be great -- even greater if they use
gllamm :)

Since this may not be of much interest to other people,
please send emails straight to me.

Thank you very much!

Sophia
